Super Falcons Crash Out Of Women's World Cup

The Super Falcons have been eliminated from the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

They lost their last group match 1-0 to the United States on Wednesday morning.

An Abby Wambach volley seconds before half time earned the Americans victory.

Nigeria ended up with only one point which it secured in the 3-3 draw against Sweden.

Cameroon is the only surviving African team in the tournament after beating Switzerland earlier by two goals to one to place second in group c with six points.

The Cameroonians will now take on china in the round of sixteen on June 20.
