Golden State Warriors Win First NBA Title In 40 Years

The Golden State Warriors have won their first title in forty years.

They beat Cleveland Cavaliers by 105-97 to take the best of seven series 4-2.

Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala, the Most Valuable Player in the final series had 25 points apiece, but Lebron James once again led the injury hit Cavaliers with a game-high of 32 points.

Steve Kerr also becomes the first rookie coach to win the crown since pat riley with the Los Angeles Lakers in 1982.
