Nigeria 4 VS Argentina 2: Sergio Aguero collapses after scoring against Super Eagles
Aguero collapsed in the dressing room during Argentina's 2-4 loss to Nigeria.
Argentine striker Sergio Aguero collapsed and was taken to the hospital during halftime of their 4-2 defeat to the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday, November 14.
Aguero played 45 minutes as Argentine surrendered a two-goal lead to lose 2-4 to Nigeria in Krasnodar.
He had scored in the 35th minute of the game, racing to a ball in the Nigerian box to tap into the net.
On getting to the dressing room, the Manchester City striker collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.
He has regained consciousness and underwent some test.
The 29-year-old's 35th-minute goal made him Argentina’s third-highest scorer. He was replaced by Dario Benedetto.
Ever Banega had given Argentina the lead in the 25th minute from a freekick before Aguero’s goal.

Kelechi Iheanacho pulled a goal back for Nigeria from a freekick late in the first half before Alex Iwobi’s brace and a goal from debutant Bryan Idowu sealed a brilliant come-back for Super Eagles.
Aguero who has eight goals in eight Premier League appearances for City so far this season recently recovered from some rib injuries which he sustained in a late September car crash in Amsterdam while returning from a concert.
