REVEALED: Man Utd chief Woodward struck Schneiderlin terms in Paris

Manchester United have struck terms with Southampton for Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Sunday Mirror says United have sealed a £25million deal for Morgan Schneiderlin – and the Old Trafford club's summer spending spree is set to continue.

Schneiderlin will join United from Southampton when the transfer widow opens on Wednesday and his arrival follows the £25million capture of PSV winger Memphis Depay.

Reds' executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward brokered the move when he met the French midfielder's advisers in Paris on Friday after having an offer accepted by the Saints.

Schneiderlin, 25, has agreed a £100,000-a-week pay package after being identified by Louis van Gaal as the man to bring power and poise to the centre of United's midfield.
