Mr. 2Kay: Police reacts to the exclusion of Burna Boy in the court notes
Mr 2Kay and his management are questioning the omission of Burna Boy's manager's name from the court notes.
Looks like Mr. 2Kay and his team are crying foul after reports of exclusion of Burna Boy's name in the court notes.
The police, however, has reacted to the allegation of bribery laid against them by 2Kay and his handlers. It would be recalled that the men of the Lagos State Police Command had arrested four suspects behind the robbery and assault on Mr 2Kay. Among those who were arrested was the road manager of Burna Boy, Joel.
According to THE NET, when they spoke to the officer in charge of the case he he refused to make comments but had a few words for them.
"If need be for you to make any enquiry, it is better for you to come to the office and see the commissioner himself. I can’t say anything more than that…," he said.
Now the name of Joel has been reportedly left off the charge note filed by the police, leading Mr 2Kay to believe that a miscarriage of justice is about to happen.
Back in November when these guys were arrested, the Lagos State Police Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi released a press statement saying the suspects were paid to N50,000 before the attack on Mr. 2Kay and another N50,000 was paid directly by Burna boy after the job was done.

Immediately after that statement, Burna Boy was declared wanted by the police for his role in the assault and robbery on Mr 2kay. However, Burna Boy's management has come out to say that the singer would honour the police invitation once he returns to the country.
According to an undisclosed source close to the singer,“Burna Boy is not in the country at the moment, but he’ll definitely be back in December because he has a show in Botswana on the 2nd of December, so he should be around after that date to honour the invitation."
This whole drama can be traced back to October 2017 when Mr 2Kay was robbed and beaten to a pulp in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites just after performing at the "Buckwyld 'n' Breathless" concert.
