Burna Boy: Singer's management says he will honour police's invitation
Burna Boy appears ready to honour the police invitation over the attack and assault on Mr 2Kay.
Burna Boy's management has come out to say that the singer would honour the police invitation once he returns to the country.
According to an undisclosed source close to the singer,“Burna Boy is not in the country at the moment, but he’ll definitely be back in December because he has a show in Botswana on the 2nd of December, so he should be around after that date to honour the invitation."
This is coming shortly after the Lagos State Police Command had declared Burna Boy wanted for his alleged role in the robbing and assault of singer, Mr. 2Kay.
It would be recalled that Mr. 2Kay was robbed and beaten to a pulp in his hotel room at Eko Hotel and Suites after performing at the "Buckwyld 'n' Breathless".

After the incident, PR consultant, Sakpaide Ogaga, said Mr 2Kay was in the room with a friend and struggled with one of the robbers, as the others punched and hit him with a gun, repeatedly warning that they will shoot if he didn't calm down.
Ogaga also said, one of the robbers led and locked 2Kay’s friend in the bathroom, while the others tied the singer’s arms, legs and mouth and took his valuables including jewellery, clothes, perfumes, phones, and money. They also cut the room’s intercom (phone) to avoid any form of communication as they left the hotel.
Shortly after the incident, the police took up the investigation leading to the arrest of four suspects. According to the press statement released by Edgal Imohimi, the suspects were paid to N50,000 before the attack on Mr. 2Kay and another N50,000 was paid directly by Burna boy after the job was done.
