Burna Boy's management has finally released an official statement addressing his alleged involvement in Mr 2Kay's robbery at the Eko Hotels and Suites.
The statement distanced Burna Boy from the incident, noting that he had honoured the first and only invitation from the police and would be glad to help the police as best as he can.
This comes a day after the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Edgal Imohimi, asked Burna Boy to report to the police station for questioning over the incident on Monday, November 20.

As earlier reported, on October 22, 2017, Mr. 2kay was robbed and assaulted in his hotel room, 847 at the Eko Hotel and Suites after the Buckwyld 'n' Breathless concert.
According to Mr 2Kay, four heavily armed men robbed him of his valuables, including a gold wristwatch, jewellery, and expensive phones.
Following the arrest of the robbers, they reportedly disclosed that they had been hired by Burna Boy, through his manager, Joel Kantiock, who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna state.

Joel Kantiock, Burna Boy's road manager, was paraded among the robbery suspects. Their names are Balogun Ademola, Obinna Igwe, and Tunmise Omotore.
According to the press statement released by Edgal Imohimi, the suspects were paid to N50,000 before the attack on Mr. 2Kay and another N50,000 was paid directly by Burna boy after the job was done.
Burna's manager, Bukky, Said that the singer honoured the invite but would not be returning to the station, insinuating that he may have been vindicated from the accusations.
