Oshoala scored 12 goals to help Dalian Quanjian FC win the Chinese Women’s Super League.
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has been voted the best striker in the Chinese Women’s Super League after helping Dalian Quanjian FC to a league and Chinese Women’s Super Cup double.
Oshoala who joined Dalian Quanjian in February 2017 went on to score 12 league goals as they won the title.
On Tuesday, November 7 she netted a brace as Dalian Quanjian FC beat Shangai 5-3 to win the Chinese Women’s Super Cup.
At an award ceremony later, the Nigeria international was given the award as the best striker in the Chinese Women’s Super League.
“All GOLD everything!! 2017 Chinese women’s league award, BEST STRIKER OF THE SEASON (Top Scorer),” the 23-year-old wrote on her Instagram.
She went on to dedicate her award to her best friend and fellow Super Falcons star Onome Ebi.
“Thanks to everyone for your support. I dedicate this award to my precious and loving sport mum, my sister and my best friend, whom has pushed and encouraged me throughout my season, thank you for everything @onosky5 , you are one of a kind. God bless and uplift you for me. #GoldenGirl #Buzzing #Alhamdulilah #ProudMoment,” Oshoala added.
Her 12 league goals helped Dalian Quanjian to win their second consecutive Chinese Women’s Super League title.

They also won the Chinese Women’s Super Cup title which is Oshoala's second trophy since she joined Dalian Quanjian in February 2017.
The 23-year-old has now won her sixth trophy in her club career.
She has won the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) title in 2014 with Rivers Angles where she also won two Nigerian Women's Cup trophies in 2013 and 2014.
Oshoala won the FA Women’s Cup trophy during her time at Arsenal Ladies in 2016.
