Sunderland go for QPR midfielder Leroy Fer

Sunderland are planning a bid for QPR midfielder Leroy Fer.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Dutch international, 25, is on the list of players black Cats boss Dick Advocaat is keen to sign.

Fer joined Rangers from Norwich for £8million and would jump at the chance of staying in the Premier League.

He has also been linked with Crystal Palace.
